The UU Reparations Team Invites You

Please join representatives of the Reparations Team at a table in the atrium to discuss the work we are doing with the Justice League of Greater Lansing, and the commitment that our church is making with regard to Reparations and Repairing the Breach.

It is important to keep in mind that reparations are not donations made due to crimes committed by our ancestors. They are payments made to restore equity. They are not about blame or guilt. Pure and simply put, they are about justice. They represent the values that we hold in this church and as individuals. We joyfully engage in the work of justice.

We will be in the atrium on the following Sundays, before and after the service: July 7th, July 14th, August 11th, and August 18th. The Reparation Team will be participating in the August 18th service.
