What is Breeze?

Breeze is the name of our Church Management Software. It is the database, and management platform that the Universalist Church of Greater Lansing uses to manage administrative information for our church. Breeze is also used to maintain our church directory. We chose this database because it allows congregants to have more control over their own information. With Breeze, each member has the choice to determine what they wish to place in the directory. Each member has the opportunity to opt in, or out, of the directory.

The ability to restrict viewing to members only, leads us to believe that this online directory is a more secure option than the printed directory. For those who find that you are more comfortable with a printed version, we are working on creating an option for that. If you do choose to get a printed directory, please respect the privacy of other congregants by not sharing with those who are not members.

Can you make a donation or pay a pledge through Breeze?

Unfortunately, the Breeze Giving Portal is not compatible with our main payment service. Please remember that while we, as members, are able to view our own financial contributions and pledges through our personal account access, we are not able to make any contributions through the Breeze platform. All contributions and donations are made through the VANCO Online Payment Portal. The payment portal can be accessed through the donation link at the bottom of all of our UU Lansing website pages.
