Our project to transform the south side of our church grounds into a natural play space is well underway! In May, accessible pathways were constructed by a Lansing-area company using crushed, recycled concrete. In June, we hosted a Volunteer Kickoff and planted trees that, over time, will provide some much-needed shade.

Over the summer, we dug into a variety of projects such as a grassland with a path, a pergola, a water element, a hoop tunnel, and a log walk as well as more planting and mulching. If you are handy with tools or enjoy landscaping, we would very much welcome your company at the final summer gathering to accomplish as much as we can before church activities increase this fall.
