Getting Started with Native Plant Gardening

The Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter will provide a live presentation by Cindi Martineau of Designs by Nature.

Have you recently learned about native plants and their benefits to wildlife and the environment? Do you hope to plant a native garden? Cindi will cover determining your soil type, light and moisture conditions, site preparation, and choosing plants that are native to our region. She will be sharing lots of online resources so that you have references to fall back on as your work continues.

Together we can support insects, birds, and other wildlife and spread the good news about native plants! This meeting is open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
